Indomitable Joy

I remember being convinced growing up that the Christian is called to be happy. I'm fairly sure that I would once have said that a sad Christian is a Christian in sin.
In his characteristically gripping style John Piper delivers this challenging message: in which he calls Christians to follow Paul into the attitude of being sorrowful yet rejoicing.
Piper says that what the world needs most from each one of us is an, "indomitable joy in Jesus in the midst of suffering and sorrow."
If, like me, you need a challenge to accept the calling of joy in the midst of sorrow this is a sermon you should listen to.
