  2. Wow, thank you for posting this - very interesting! I thought that was a good point the speaker made near the beginning, that it's not just about what countries have non-believers in but which countries don't have any Christians in them who are able to witness to the native people. It definitely inspires one to 'go out there' and become a missionary :-)

And for those of us who are not called to over-seas mission at this time, the call still remains to witness in *this* country and reach those thousands lost of our own people ... How can we reach people in this country who are without a witness in their midst and who are - albeit surrounded by churches and Christians as they walk down a city street - cut off from God?

  3. Thanks both for your comments you two...

I remember having a trip in a N. African city and sitting on our roof and looking out over a couple of 1,000 houses, and thinking
"WOW ALL OF THESE PEOPLE ARE GOING TO HELL!"

    Then remembering the verse:
" HOW SHALL THEY HEAR WITHOUT A PREACHER ?"
It really stirred me up and It made me almost weep.

If we can not go out there we can: ( as Tabitha said)
    a) Work where we are, school, town and family

    b) Pray. The early Christians devoted themselves to prayer... SO SHOULD WE...

But over all, may God be glorified by the furtherance of His kingdom, here on earth.

    JONAH
